A Firework of an Anniversary for the St Regis Downtown Dubai!

On October 20th, 2022, the skies of Business Bay were lit up with fireworks and the air was filled with music to celebrate the 1-year anniversary of St Regis Downtown, Dubai. La Clé provided all the bespoke entertainment for this sizzling stylish event which featured live music, dancers and a DJ.

The evening began with a welcome speech by the St Regis GM, after which the grand affair was opened with a live 5-piece band led by the incredible Gari Deegan on vocals, setting the perfect ambience for the night ahead.

Following the band, six beautiful dancers took to the stage, dressed in specially designed costumes to match the striking black and gold themed palette of the event. The dancers impressed guests with a fun and sassy choreography to Benny Goodman’s orchestral hit “Sing Sing Sing”.

Working alongside Carousel events who did the entire set up, six black podiums were positioned around the St Regis terrace. The dancers walked off the stage straight into the crowd to freestyle and interact with guests, and then up onto the podiums which they remained on until the countdown to the fireworks show. Accompanied by a soundtrack played by DJ Ora Beats, the fireworks and light show lasted approximately ten minutes, with the St Regis emblem shining upon the water of the canal. The powerful energy of the firelit sky was continued by the band as they shone on the main stage for the second set.

The dancers then reappeared in luxuriously shimmering gold costumes with feathers-a-plenty, for a bold and flirtatious burlesque show. After this, the band performed a third and final set, with the six dancers joining the musicians on stage for the stage show finale “A little party never killed nobody”, from the Great Gatsby soundtrack.

Finally, DJ Ora Beats took over as the guests danced the night away.
