A Colourful Celebration for Cé La Vi!

Recently one of our favourite venues in Dubai turned 2! So, as you can imagine, we were thrilled to be asked to curate entertainment for the 2nd anniversary of Cé La Vi restaurant/ lounge in Downtown Dubai. The vision for the evening was a Vogue-inspired evening of vibrant colour.

Immersed throughout the restaurant we provided six dancers for the special evening. Two girls danced in large yellow cages and wore gold sequin jumpsuits with big, bold floral headpieces. Two more dancers wore runway-inspired boutique-style colourfully patterned funky dresses in dazzling shades. Then, next to Cé La Vi’s iconic swing, a pair of girls wowed guests and attracted photo opportunities with their eye-catching multi-coloured metallic dresses.

For the girls’ makeup we worked with renowned make-up artist Emily Clayton. We trusted that she would understand our vision after working with us on the World of Warcraft fantasy wedding, bringing our Elune Elves to life. Emily made sure that our dancers were made up to model perfection, blending bright pops of colour with big brush strokes and hints of gold.

A little Behind the Scene coverage here;

Every detail of the brief was covered- the coloured high heels lent from our own in-house wardrobe, the high quality of materials for the costumes, and the choice of accessories; never skimping on style and keeping things in Vogue.

Of course, a party cannot have colour without live music! The kaleidoscope of colour was complemented by live funk and disco band from the UK, who kept the fashionable crowd on the dancefloor for the whole evening.

Overall, it was a very stylish and colourful anniversary party indeed.
