Great Gatsby New Years at St Regis Saadiyat Island
La Clé Entertainment said goodbye to 2018 and delved into 2019 in roaring 1920s style and Gatsby Glam at the St Regis Saadiyat ballroom for the larger than life Greta Gatsby New Year’s black tie gala event in the 5 star resorts’ regal Regal Ballroom.
Since 1904, The St. Regis has been known for its lavish parties. The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort honored this legacy and provided an unforgettable celebration for all, with thrilling and captivating performances all night.
The evening was the perfect opportunity for guests to dress up in all their finery and prepare for a night filled with fun, frolics and flappers. A sumptuous international spread, was expertly detailed by the St Regis culinary team to please the most discerning palate.
Energy, rhythm and music dominated the black tie event with the award winning 10-piece Ambassador Band who has been wowing audiences and jamming up dance floors for over a decade. musical journey and sending rocking great Gatsby vibes throughout the St Regis Saadiyat Resort.
Flying in from the UK, the band was booked by La Clé Entertainment especially for this celebration and exceeded all expectations.
Renowned for their outstanding musical ability, infectious energy and guest interaction, the band delivered an eclectic mix of Funk, Soul, Motown, Disco and Pop dance floor anthems, all served up in their own unique renditions, taking guests from young to old on an epic musical journey. From sparkly headbands to fringed flapper dresses, guests partied like it was 1920.
At the stroke of midnight, the band invited guests outside for the ultimate countdown and to gaze at the spectacular fireworks display from the sea view terrace.
