When it comes to creating glitter packed creative entertainment concepts, the sky is really the limit - The MAC Starring YOU launch at the Dubai Opera was a night to remember which had us all reaching for the stars!

MAC Cosmetics is arguably one of the world’s leading makeup authorities that has been gracing the shelves of beauty and makeup enthusiasts’ since 1984.

Boasting an impressive palette of cinematic and metallic tones, glittery purples to classic pinks, MAC’s festive season collection Starring YOU encourages customers to channel their inner stardom, celebrate the self and bathe in holiday glam and glitter!

Echoing MAC’s unparalleled creativity and professional expertise, La Clé set out to create a truly bespoke entertainment schedule combined with out-of-the-box artistic concepts unique to MAC’s glam festive collection that would culminate in a truly spark-tac-ular show of opulent artistry and entertainment.

“Retail launches such as these, need to make an impact especially in a world saturated with a plethora of beauty products.“ Founder and Creative Director Sherin Al Alami stated.

And what better way to launch a brand than with sophisticated and impactful entertainment to create a launch to remember!

Inspired by glitter, frosted hues, metallic purples to classic pinks, La Cle's in house production team designed every element with make up artists deployed on site to bring the creations to life.

“From the moment we received the brief from the MAC events team we knew exactly what we needed to do and we were instantly inspired by the palette and shimmery colors similar in MAC’s proposed campaign. - La Cle’s very own in house production team stated.

Walkbaout characters including the stunning “Luna Ladies” and “Cloud Ballerinas” were custom creations specific for the launch adding class and sparkle as they daintily roamed through the audience posing and greeting guests with MAC goody bag giveaways – a simple and memorable touch!

Make up artists worked their magic from noon on the day of the event (OMG) and came out mid way through the events to stun guests and pose on a makeshift stage for before immersing themselves with the crowd as an extension of the decor, design providing ample photo ops for guests.

And when it comes to glitter and sparkles there’s no better girl ensemble to entertain the crowd than the disco queens flying in from London to perform three sets of disco favorites and pop covers with moves and grooves to match the vibe.

La Cle’s very own bespoke classical ensemble Les Bijoux wooed guests in between sets of the disco queens with a repertoire of upbeat modern favorites. Also styled in costumes to match MAC’s Starring YOU theme, the ladies were an instant hit with the crowd.
